Free Human Design Chart

Get your Human Design chart.

Enter your birth details below and I’ll calculate your Human Design bodygraph, with an introduction to what it can tell you about:

  • How you’re designed to make decisions — and what happens when your mind tries to take over the job
  • How your energy naturally moves — what engages you, what drains you, and how you’re designed to meet what comes toward you
  • The role you tend to play with other people — including how you learn, connect, influence, and move through experience
  • What stays consistent in you — the energy and qualities you can reliably return to
  • Where you’re more likely to absorb what’s happening around you — and the outside pressures or conditioning you may mistake for your own

If you’re new to Human Design, you’ll also get enough context to understand what you’re looking at and where to begin.

Because, fair warning: the bodygraph looks a little unhinged the first time you see it.

Human Design uses your birth time to calculate your chart. If you don’t know the exact time, you can use 12:00 noon, but parts of your chart may be approximate.

The city you were born in, not where you live now. This is how your real birth-time offset is worked out.

A quick orientation

Okay. What am I looking at?

Your bodygraph is a map of the energetic mechanics Human Design associates with you.

It can tell you a lot.

It can also become a rabbit hole approximately five minutes after you discover gates exist.

You do not need to understand the whole chart right away.

Start here.

Your Type

Your Type gives you the broadest view of how your energy is designed to interact with life.

Manifestor. Generator. Manifesting Generator. Projector. Reflector.

It can help you understand what naturally engages your energy, what tends to create resistance, and why trying to move through life the way somebody else does may feel spectacularly ineffective.

Your Strategy

Strategy gives you a way to experiment with how you meet opportunities, people, invitations, ideas, and everything else life puts in front of you.

This is where Human Design starts becoming something you can test instead of something you simply read about.

Your Authority

This is the piece I want you to pay attention to.

Your Authority describes the decision-making mechanism Human Design gives your body.

Not what makes the most sense on paper. Not what everyone else thinks you should do. Not the answer you can argue yourself into after forty-five minutes of mental gymnastics.

Your Authority gives you somewhere else to listen.

Your Profile

Your Profile describes recurring themes in the way you learn, relate, develop through experience, and interact with other people.

It often explains pieces of yourself that have been obvious your entire life but never had particularly useful language around them.

This is one of those parts of the chart where people tend to say: Ohhhhh. That.

Your Centers

The nine centers are the shapes you see in the middle of the bodygraph. Some will be colored in. Others will be white.

They give us a way to explore what tends to remain consistent in you and where you may be more affected by the energy, expectations, emotions, ideas, and pressure around you.

This is where Human Design starts becoming especially useful for understanding conditioning.

Your Gates + Channels

The lines and numbers throughout your chart add another level of detail.

Your gates describe particular energetic themes. Channels connect two centers and create consistent pathways within your design.

They can tell us a tremendous amount about how your particular design operates. They’re also where the rabbit hole gets very deep.

You do not need to learn all of them tonight. Promise.

Where I’d start

Learn less. Notice more.

Human Design can easily become another giant body of information to collect.

I don’t think that’s where its value is.

Learn the basic mechanics of your Type, Strategy, and Authority. Then go live your life.

Pay attention to a decision. Notice when pressure shows up. Watch what happens when someone asks something of you.

Notice what gives you energy and what you keep trying to force.

Pay attention to the difference between the moments when your body seems to know and the moments when your mind launches a full committee meeting.

You’re looking for recognition.

That’s how the chart begins becoming yours.

One thing I want you to know

Your chart isn’t an instruction manual for becoming a better version of yourself.

Please don’t turn Human Design into another list of things you’re doing wrong.

You are going to make decisions from your head sometimes. You are going to recognize conditioning after you’ve already followed it.

You are going to read something about your design and think, I have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about.

Good.

You’re a person, not a bodygraph.

Use the system as something to experiment with. Stay curious about what you notice.

You don’t have to perform your Human Design correctly.

Keep going

Want more than the chart?

There are a few ways to keep going, depending on what you’re curious about.

The Creative Compass

If you want a more personalized introduction, the Creative Compass takes your design further into the parts of Human Design I find especially useful for creative people: how you make decisions, how your energy wants to work, how you naturally communicate and connect, and where conditioning can pull you away from yourself.
